Kanodar is a village in Banaskantha district in Gujarat, India, 130 kilometres north of Ahmadabad. Kanodar's economy has historically been known for hand loom production and textiles; more recently, they have found a niche market in reconditioning automobiles.

Demographics

The population is split quite evenly between males and females. As of 2001 India census GRI India, Kanodar had a population of 11,130. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Kanodar has an average literacy rate of 74%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 80%, and female literacy is 69%. In Kanodar, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age. Education
